Another month has come and gone...

Weight: 16 pounds 8 ounces

Milestones: Sit up unassisted for long periods of time. Tries to sing along when we sing to her(even if its jabbering its SO adorable). Says MAMA!! Has eaten all the stage 1 veggies and fruits. Squash was her favorite. She would literally grab the pouch and squeeze more in her mouth.

Favorites: Sophie the Giraffe. Butternut squash. Jumper. Clapping. Singing. Bath time. Books. Eating her toes.

Not so Favorites: Wearing clothes. Wearing shoes(I can't keep them on her). Thats about it...She is SO easy going- thank you daddy for that part of her personality ;)

I figured I should do this post since I am so far behind and she will be 6 months in 3 days. I probably
will say this for the rest of my life but I still cannot believe how fast she is growing. I don't even remember my life without her. It feels like she has always been mine. My heart grows more and more in love with her everyday. She is just amazing. Her personality shows more all the time and I can tell she is going to be the sweetest most caring little thing. I cannot wait to spend more days watching her grow and learn, but sometimes I wish it would slow down. I cherish every moment with her and I am so thankful that I was given the responsibility to be her mother. She is one smart girl and she surprises me with things that she does sometimes. I love her more than I ever knew I could love another  person besides her daddy. Happy 5 months Abigail Scout!

Easter Eve/ Easter Fun

I am back. It has been way too long since I have had a chance to do a blog post and for that I apologize. We just moved 1200 miles across the country and things have been crazy busy! So here I am just now posting about our Easter.

Abigail and I spent a week at Grammy and Poppy's house in Illinois, while daddy had to stay home and work. Then, he came on Friday to spend Saturday with the whole family. On Saturday we had a big Easter lunch followed by an Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun with Abbey and it was great to see everyone before we were making our big move. Abigail was so much fun doing the Easter egg hunt. She even would grab the eggs and drop them in her basket..so cute!

Cute daddy

After our fun on Saturday we had to leave and drive six hours to Missouri so we could be there for Easter the next day. We got home at about 4:30 am and then went to church around 11:00. After church we went to have lunch and another Easter egg hunt. I was in love with Abigail's dress and matching coat. She looked SO adorable. I made her Easter basket with tulle for a tutu and then wrapped pearls around the handle. Inside was an outfit, Easter pajamas, baby sunglasses, a tree for her grass, and Sophie the giraffe. And let me just say Sophie is such a hit! She even fell asleep sucking on her nose one day in the car. SO sweet. I will put a picture of that below.

My favorite picture! This girl is so strong.
I cannot believe she stood up by herself for this picture.

Easter egg hunt number two!

Later that day my husband, my mother in law, my two nephews, and myself went to the park. Abbey loves the park. She is so much like her daddy. Loves to explore and see new things. Easter was a hit and so much fun with a little girl to share it with. I just hope she always knows the true meaning of Easter and I know we will do our best to teach her. I look forward to many holidays with this precious, sweet little girl. She makes every day so much fun and I love her with every piece of my heart.

This is the Baby Einstein jumper we got her for Easter too.
She LOVES this thing and it is so cute to watch her jump and play in it.
